When AntifraudAI returns a review decision for a transaction, it automatically creates a Case — a structured record that gives your fraud operations team everything they need to make an informed approve-or-reject decision. Cases capture the original transaction data, risk score, fraud signals, and user history in one place. This guide covers how to view, query, and resolve cases both through the dashboard and the Cases API.

Viewing Cases in the Dashboard

The AntifraudAI dashboard provides a zero-code interface for triaging cases.
1

Navigate to the Cases tab

Log in to the AntifraudAI dashboard and select Cases from the left-hand navigation menu.
2

Filter by status

Use the Status dropdown to filter the case list by:
  • Open — awaiting a human decision
  • Approved — transaction was allowed after review
  • Rejected — transaction was declined after review
  • Expired — no action was taken within the expiry window
You can also filter by date range, assigned agent, or risk score band.
3

Inspect a case

Click any row to open the case detail view. This page shows:
  • The original transaction payload and amount
  • The risk score and all contributing signals
  • The user’s full event history and previous case outcomes
  • A timeline of status changes and agent notes
From this view you can Approve or Reject the case with a single click.

Cases via API

Use the Cases API to integrate case management directly into your support systems, review tools, or automated workflows.

Resolving a Case

Update a case’s status to approved or rejected by sending a PUT request to /cases/{case_id}.
When a case is resolved, AntifraudAI fires a case.resolved webhook event to any configured endpoints — allowing your systems to automatically fulfil or cancel the underlying order in response.

Case Statuses

Configure a webhook subscription for the case.created event so your review team receives an instant notification the moment a new case is opened — no polling required. See the Webhooks guide for setup instructions.
